Dominion Dealer Solutions was presented with The Presidents Award from Downtown Pittsfield today. The award was given for making a substantial investment in downtown Pittsfield by moving it’s business, with more than 50 employees, to the Cooper Building at 116 North Street.

Late last year, Dominion Dealer Solutions made the decision to move to downtown Pittsfield so its employees could take advantage of working in a downtown environment. It opened its new offices in November at 116 North Street with 50 employees.

The Downtown Pittsfield, Inc’s. (DPI) Annual Meeting was held today, at the Beacon Cinema, with nearly 100 business leaders, elected officials, and property owners in attendance. Peter Lafayette, Board President, presented the award recognizing the organization’s contribution to the growth of Pittsfield. Carolann Strickling, Accounting Manager, was present to accept the award on behalf of Dominion Dealer Solutions.
