Happy Fourth of July

Being headquartered in Norfolk, Virginia, Independence Day is especially exciting. Virginia Beach is only about 30 minutes away from the Dominion Dealer Solutions’ headquarters, so many celebrate the holiday with sun and sand; grilling hamburgers and watching the many displays of fireworks at the oceanfront.

For many in the area, the Fourth of July holds special meaning. Norfolk is home to the world’s largest naval base, so military presence in the area is huge. We always remember how lucky we are to have our freedom protected by such amazing servicemen and women.

This holiday not only reminds us of how freedom was declared from England in 1776, but of how it’s been maintained for the past 236 years. The corporate and individual sacrifices that have been made to ensure this over the years are especially poignant in Norfolk, VA. We would like to thank all members of the military for keeping our country and its citizens safe, and hope everyone had a great Fourth of July!
